Data Availability Statement

Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement within their manuscript indicating:

• Whether the research data are publicly available.
• The name of the repository where the data are deposited.
• The dataset DOI, accession number, or permanent link, where applicable.
• Conditions or restrictions on data access, if any.

Where data cannot be shared due to ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, or contractual obligations, authors should clearly explain the reason in the Data Availability Statement.

Data Citation

Authors should appropriately cite datasets that contribute to their research in the reference list. Wherever possible, dataset citations should include persistent identifiers such as Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) or repository accession numbers to ensure proper attribution and facilitate long-term accessibility.

Protection of Confidential Information

Data sharing must not compromise participant privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, or legal obligations. Personal or identifiable information should be removed or anonymized before data are shared, and all applicable ethical and regulatory requirements must be observed.

Editorial Assessment

The Editorial Office may request access to underlying research data during the peer-review process or after publication when necessary to verify the validity, integrity, or reproducibility of the reported findings. Authors are expected to cooperate with reasonable requests for supporting data.
